Bluefin Robotics was formed from a core team of the Autonomous Underwater Vehicles Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bluefin designs, manufactures and operates Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and related subsystems. Bluefin make complete AUV systems in several sizes as per the application requirement

The Bluefin AUVs are a factor of five smaller than that of similar systems in the market. In addition to 21" diameter AUVs Bluefin also offer 12" and 9" diameter AUVs. Bluefin AUVs are modular and the length can change between one and five meters depending in the AUV diameter and the number of payloads that are incorporated in the AUV.
