Innomar works in the field of development of innovative technologies like parametric acoustics and started with the development of the product line SES-96. This line consists of different system variants of very efficient parametric sediment echo sounders. This narrow beam parametric sediment echo sounder system could be employed for many tasks and problems during marine explorations and investigations. The detection of fluid mud layers and sediment structures for dredging, geological survey and the search for embedded objects like pipelines and wrecks - to name only a small selection of applications for which the SES-96 system is perfectly suited.

    SES-96 Standard & Light Variants:



The system SES-96 is the first mobile parametric sediment echo sounder on the international market. The compact design with an user friendly control unit allows the survey even in small and shallow waters with all the advantages of the parametric acoustics.

The variant SES-96 standard has the possibility for electronical beam steering and beam stabilization and is equipped with modules for high ping rates, high energy pulses and deep water transmit modes.

    SES-2000 Compact, Medium & Deep Variants:



The variant SES-2000 Compact has a size of one half of a 19" device only, controlled via an USB interface with any external PC or Notebook running MS Windows. The compact design without integrated industrial PC components results in a very affordable and reliable instrument for sub-bottom profiling applications. It is designed for shallow water depth applications near the shore and inland waters down to 400 m.

The variant SES-2000 medium is designed for medium water depth applications near shore and in shelf areas down to 1500m.

The variant SES-2000 deep is designed for deep water depth applications in ocean areas down to 6000m.

    SES-2000 ROV:



The variant SES-2000 ROV is designed for ROV mounted applications with a depth rating of 1500m for the sub-sea bottle and the transducer, with a water depth range of 2 to 400 m under the transducer.

    SES-2000 Side Scan Option :



The Side Scan Option for the SES systems is a very useful tool for applications which require different survey techniques to get as most as possible information and not only sub-bottom data. For example the dredging industry can benefit from surveying an area with the side scan very quickly to find rock outcrops or stones and obstacles and later on to survey the area with the sub-bottom profiler to get data about embedded structures and sediment layering. The side scan works with the frequency of 100kHz. The SES systems are upgraded with the transducer and a software update, which makes the side scan option very affordable.

    Processing Software :



The online software "SES for Windows" provides a user friendly system configuration and system control during the survey. The replay and reprint of the digitally stored data is possible at the offline mode too.

With the post processing software "ISE 2.6" the user has extended possibilities to work with the digitally recorded data of the SES-96 systems. Some of the main features are layer editing, extended signal processing capabilities, data conversion and data export filters, tide, water sound velocity and GPS z-level corrections, enhanced printingmodes for data presentation and the overlay of sediment probes to echoplots.
