| BMS : Seafloor Rock Coring System: |

The BMS (Benthic Multi-coring System) is a remotely operated seafloor drilling system that allows retrieval of core samples in rock or sediment up to 30 meters long in water depths to 6,000 meters. The BMS is equipped with 60+ hydraulic functions, 4 video cameras and a suite of sensors that allow feedback and control of all drill sensors and functions at the surface operator's console. The BMS is operated by Minerals Mining Agency of Japan.

C-BASS : Cable Burial Assessment System: |

C-BASS is a seafloor towed survey system that is used to collect high resolution geophysical and geotechnical information for the top 3-5 meters of seafloor sediments in water depths to 2,000 m. Using acoustics, resistivity and a cone penetrometer, C-BASS is used to determine the burial feasibility and other characteristics for planning, design and route selection of seafloor cable and pipeline installations.

REDAS : Resistivity Data Acquisition System: |

REDAS is a seafloor towed survey system that is used to collect high resolution geophysical for the top 3-5 meters of seafloor sediments in water depths to 2,500 m. REDAS uses resistivity and video to assist in determining the burial feasibility and other characteristics for planning, design and route selection of seafloor cable and pipeline installations.

Deep seafloor mapping system: |

W&A has a range of seafloor mapping systems capable of generating seafloor imagery and sub-bottom profiles across a swath of up to 6000 meters (3.25 nautical miles). They are ideal for large area survey or search tool, allowing both wide swath mapping and high-resolution target imaging. They has been used successfully on a wide range of missions from regional geological mapping to small target and shipwreck searches. |
